Course programme

The Wirefly Training CCNA course offers 2 days of hands-on training with tuition from a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).

The aim of any technology based course should be to provide the student with the ability to apply his/her knowledge to the tasks required in the workplace. That’s why our CCNA course provides 2 days of intense hands-on practical training solidifying the theory that is offered in the ICND1 and ICND2 course material.

Our CCNA courses are taught by an instructor who is CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP and CCIE qualified and who has over 10 years of experience as a Cisco network engineer. This means that you’ll be getting your training from an instructor who truly understands the theory, the technology and the industry.

The CCNA course will cover the following subject areas:

  • An Introduction to LANs, WANs and Cisco Equipment
  • The OSI Model
  • Frame Relay & PPP
  • LAN Switching (Including VLANs, VLAN Trunking & Spanning Tree)
  • TCP/IP
  • IP Addressing & Subnetting
  • Network Security
  • Routing (Including Static, RIP, EIGRP and OSPF)
  • Troubleshooting LANs & WANs
  • Network Address Translation (NAT)
  • IP Version 6
  • Using the Cisco Security Device Manager (SDM) GUI

We are confident that the excellent hands-on training and tuition that you will receive while on our CCNA course, combined with a minimum of 2 weeks of your own personal study, will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to pass the Cisco CCNA exam. We are also confident that the skills that you will gain will be a great benefit while performing your day-to-day role as a Cisco network engineer.
