THE COURSE
The course will allow the delegate to plan, install, and administer a Citrix XenApp 5.0/Presentation Server 4.5 farm. This course deals with Citrix XenApp 5.0 (and PS4.5) in Windows 2003/Windows 2008 environments covering client and application connectivity as well as performance and optimisation, load balancing, security, and monitoring.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Those who wish to plan, implement and administer a Citrix XenApp 5.0 (and PS4.5) farm. The course will also give the delegate enough knowledge to attain the Certified Citrix Administrator (CCA) qualification. This course is not a beginners course in Terminal Services.
PRE-REQUISITES
Delegates should be familiar with administration of Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server. In addition, some knowledge of administering a Windows-based Terminal Server is ESSENTIAL, which can be obtained from the Windows Terminal Services course from Quanta.
