Citrix Xenapp - Desktop Solutions

Introduction

This course will teach individuals the essential skills and in-depth knowledge in how to deploy and design solutions for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.5 using Windows Server 2012 R2. It will cover a variety of materials that relate to Citrix components such as; XenServer, MCS, XenDesktop, PVS, Citrix Receiver, StoreFront, NetScaler, Citrix License Server, and Personal vDisk.

Pre-Requisites

To be able to attend this course, you must:

• Have knowledge in application virtualization concepts, server, and desktop.
• Have working experience with Windows Server 2012 R2.
• Have experience in Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy Objects
• Have experience in Monitoring performance
• Have working experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Completed Introduction to XenDesktop 7 or have equivalent experience course
• Completed Getting Started with Citrix XenDesktop 7 course

• This course is aimed towards Architects, Consultants, and Engineers in the solution designing area of Citrix and want experience in installing and configuring hosted application and desktop solutions.
