Previous knowledge of the IEE Wiring Regulations is not assumed, but a fundamental knowledge of electrical principles is expected. For this reason, this course is more suited to those with electrical knowledge or training, or who have passed previous electrician courses. There is an update course available for those who have completed a 16th Edition course after June 2001. This is called the City and Guilds 17th Edition - 2382-20 Wiring Regulations Update Course and is only 2 days.
