How will I study?

The Digital Marketing course is divided into five sections: 1. Undertanding the role of digital marketing. This includes: strengths and weaknesses of digital marketing; the importantance of targeting digital marketing; data lists; legal requirements; digital data capture. 2. The use of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). This includes: the use of SEO & why it's important; advantages and disadvantages of link building. 3. Online marketing research. This includes: using search related tools to identify and retrieve information; advantages & disadvantages of data collection sources; confirming accuracy of online data. 4. The uses of digital marketing devises and messages. This includes: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; importance of data cleansing; marketing devises; digital response systems; advantages & disadvantages of different tracking systems. 5. How to use digital technology for marketing. This includes: digital technologies; tailoring messages; and social media.
How will I be taught?

Live lessons and collaborative working are the cornerstones of the teaching style at Chichester College. You will learn the principles of digital marketing practice through talks, group discussions, case studies, role-plays, and practical exercises. Throughout the programme you will be encouraged to relate theories and practice to your own organisation and experience both within class and written/practical assignments.
How will I be assessed?
