About this course

This 3 day course is intended to ensure that practicing electricians comply with the format, content and applications of The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671.

There are no formal entry requirements, but the qualification is primarily aimed at electricians and other allied professionals and trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

  • Preparation for the City & Guilds 2382-10 examination

The qualification is gained by the successful completion of a 2 hour multiple-choice online examination with immediate results.
What time do courses start and end?
Courses start at 9.00am and finish at 4:30pm.

Do I need to buy any books?

Delegates will require a copy of the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018. These can be purchased from us at the special price of £75.

All necessary books are also available on loan for the duration of the course. However, you may want to purchase your own copy so that you can make notes in it and have it to take away when the course is over.
Grants and Funding.

It may be possible for you to receive funding or a grant towards your training with us, especially if you have recently been made redundant or are unemployed. We are also an ELC registered training provider, so service personnel can use their ELC's at our centre.

Opportunities will be provided during the course to answer practice exam questions.

Additional information

Payment options: Cost includes examination registration fee and buffet lunch each day. We normally ask for a deposit of £150.00* with the balance being payable on the first day of the course.
