Course Overview:
2394-01 Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations and 2395-01 Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
We offer these qualifications as a combined course. On completion and certification, the candidates will have obtained the necessary preparation to test, inspect and certify electrical installations.
This course is for qualified electricians who need to carry out the relevant inspection and testing procedures relevant to their job role/or company requirements. The course covers the theory and practice of the inspection, testing and certification relevant to the respective certification required.

Progression Opportunities: City & Guilds 2396-01 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations

Entry Requirements: This course aimed at qualified electricians. Applicants for both courses should have a working knowledge of the current edition and who have preferably gained certification in of the IET 17th Edition regulations. Also, you should be in possession of relevant electrical qualifications e.g. 2330, 2360. Entry is subject to an interview.

Additional Information: Candidates will need to bring three text books: ‘BS7671 17Th Edition of IEE wiring Regulations’ (ISBN 978-1-84919-269-9), and ‘IEE on site Guide’ (ISBN 978-1-84919-287-3) and Guidance Notes 3 (ISBN 978-1-84919-275-0). Candidates have to be registered with City & Guilds six weeks before the exam date. Course dates are organised so that the pre-set examination dates coincide with the end of the course.
