Course programme

Course review:

It is aimed at practicing electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going onto achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations (2395). It will also support candidates in demonstarting the required level of competency in inspection and testing of domestic installations when being assessed for self certification within a Part P scheme.

This qualification was developed in conjunction with the electrical industry (including NICEIC and ECA) in order to meet the needs of the industry and centres and to provide candidates with an introduction of how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) of electrical installations.

Candidates will be required to complete the following two assessments:

  • Computer exam
  • dated writtten paper
  • practical assessment
