What you need to know
How will I study?

You will learn how to set-up and operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, profiling, jointing, sanding, CNC machinery as well as how to use portable powered hand tools.
How will I be taught?

Learners will be guided through each session by our experienced tutors, teaching you to develop your confidence using a range of skills necessary in the furniture industry.
How will I be assessed?

You will be formally assessed through the successful completion of a Centre Devised Assignment. During this assessment you will be graded on all aspects of manufacture, from planning and preparing the job through to the setting up and operating of a range of woodworking machines.
