The core curriculum includes all main subject areas, concentrating on analysis and materials behaviour, with a focus on design and management in the specialisation years. The international dimension aims to encourage awareness of the global engineering industry and allows students to foster links abroad. In Year 5 students complete a professional design project and a dissertation.
