Course programme

Located in the heart of Downpatrick, Down Arts Centre manages the Ultimate Guide and is the operational base for the arts in Down District. Staffed by Down District Council Arts Team, the venue produces a busy programme of events all year round, as well as producing and managing the annual Opera Fringe Festival on behalf of Fringe Performances Ltd, and the Newcastle Summer Season.

Clay Classes

Come along and learn a variety of ways to create in CLAY guided step by step by ceramic artist Audrey Smyth....fired to ceramic then finished using various glazing and surface technigues. All welcome from the complete beginner to those already apt in clay wanting to learn more!!
