Clay with Carole

History

Carole Sender is a ceramic artist who has recently set up 'Clay with Carole' a private teaching studio in her garden studio in Hitchin. Carole specializes in hand building sculptural ceramics for the home and garden including free standing water features. Her work is inspired by the natural environment, carnivorous plants and sea forms. She works in a variety of clays and uses color and hand painting to decorate her work.

Carole is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher with 20 years experience in making ceramics. She will inspire you to produce work of a high standard and will provide contextual support through looking at the work of established artists and ceramicists. There is a multi media facility in the studio where the class can look at web sites and audio visial resources to gain knowledge and inspiration. The groups are small and friendly and there is plenty of opportunity for group discussion, individual tuition and feed back.
