The course consists of taught modules, a work-based learning project and enables you to explore a topic of interest in depth, with the aim to publish. You will learn how to lead and manage healthcare practice and implement research advances to enrich evidence-based practice. The course will help you to develop the ability to implement workplace learning in clinical settings, and competently research healthcare issues within your workplace. You will also gain the skills to prepare you for management of change and to apply your learning to projects within the workplace.

About this course

Write for publication
A recent first-class degree (within the last five years) and at least six months' post-qualifying experience.
Applicants with a recent diploma (HE) will be considered but will be required to write a short academic essay.
All applicants should be working in the health and social care setting which will allow them to undertake the practical elements of the programme.

Postgraduate Certificate: two modules (each of 30 level 7 credits)
Postgraduate Diploma: four modules (each of 30 level 7 credits)
MSc: four modules (each of 30 level 7 credits) plus a capstone project of 60 credits
At postgraduate certificate and diploma level, you may select modules from the list below. To achieve the MSc you must undertake a capstone research project and produce an article suitable for publication.
