Clinical Risk Refresher

Course aims
To increase knowledge and skills in assessment and management of clinical risk.

Course objectives
■ Participants will review SLaM's Framework for Assessment of Clinical Risk and Management of Harm
■ Identify common risks to self and others, including risks to children
■ Identify specifi c risks associated with substance misuse
■ Work with case studies to identify competency in use of risk assessment tools
■ Write Case Formulation of Risk, in response to case study.

Target groups
All clinical professional staff.

Prerequisites of course
For staff who assess and manage clinical risk.
