The course content will cover but not limited to the following: Introduction to close protection operations, motorcade drills, intelligence gathering, planning operations, Combat training, Law & regulations, searching, surveillance, terrorism threat awareness, fire safety, map reading & navigation and much more.
All main topics have multiple sub topic content.

You will undertake multiple practice scenarios, culminating in a final operation in excess of 24 hours, which you will plan and execute as a team, allowing you to put the skills learned into practice.

About this course

To gain experience in close protection operations in an international environment and to pass the requirements needed for certification and licencing.

This course is suitable for those over the age of 18.

No previous experience is required.

Our course provides the following qualifications in level 3 Close protection, Conflict management, First aid, CPR and AED and counter threat level 3.

Qualifications are through Pearson/Edexcel and the open college network.

Due to this course being held in the USA, it exposes learners to working on an international level in unfamiliar surroundings which creates various challenges with regards to operational planning.

This course covers over 12 modules of training. Each module has multiple sub content. The training modules exceed those required by the awarding body and SIA guidelines.

Additional units include first aid and counter threat along with counter terrorism programs.

This is an intensive training course that will give you skills way above what is required from most training courses.

We also offer additional bolt on training in armed and unarmed combat, firearms and other specialist disciplines.
