Course programme
The Diploma in First Line Management is aimed at current or potential managers who have as yet received no formal qualification in management. It is designed for those working in a wide range of organisations that have, or soon will have, some management or supervisory responsibility.
Course members may be managers or supervisors with considerable work experience but who have not completed any formal management qualifications. There will be others who are on the threshold of management who require vital management skills and a qualification that verifies their competence. This qualification is relevant to people who are responsible for:
- Allocating work to others
- Achieving results by using resources effectively
- Carrying out policy in a defined area of authority
