The aim
To teach managers how to be effective coaches.
About the programme
Strong coaching skills are invaluable to any business. Through effective coaching, managers can encourage and motivate staff, change attitudes, bring in new ideas and increase job satisfaction.
Combining drama, documentary interviews and a real-life coaching session, this programme is a comprehensive training resource that will help turn managers in to effective coaches. The package demonstrates how to coach successfully by developing a set of simple listening and questioning skills and applying them.
A simple, three-step model will enable your managers to introduce a coaching culture into your organisation by: introducing the problem in a non-threatening way and exploring the use of cause and effect questions; drawing out a solution for the individual being coached, and checking understanding of ideas; and agreeing a follow up plan and setting review dates.
By setting clear objectives and following key principles, the managers in your business will have all the necessary strategies and resources to implement an effective coaching culture.
