Colour Confidence - Colour Workflow Workshop
Park Cameras has teamed up with Colour Confidence to offer consumers the chance to gain a greater insight into the rewarding world of post-production, editing and various tools of the trade now available to photo-enthusiasts looking to get the very best out of their original images. During the course of this day-long (10-4) course, delegates will benefit from a part practical, part theory journey across the Colour Confidence product range in order to understand which product is right for the many jobs associated with post-production work. In essence, the course will be split into five parts:
- Capture - a chance to create, profile and apply correct colour settings at capture, achieved through the use of the X-Rite ColourChecker Passport and the ColourVision SpyderCube.
- Monitor Calibration - using the X-Rite Eye-One Display 2, this tutorial will highlight the importance of correct screen colour, use calibrators and advise on Photoshop Colour Space and associated settings.
- Image Editing - Using onOne and NIK software onto your computers, this section of the course will allow delegates to benefit from the on-screen colour setting in the previous section by applying OnOne and NIK plug-ins to an image. Delegates are encouraged to bring in their own images to master this process on.
- Printer Profiling - Using the X-Rite ColorMunki product range to master pre-print settings.
- Viewing Prints - highlights the importance of accurate viewing conditions, demonstrating the Colour Confidence GrafiLite, Kodak Check Up Kit.
With the chance to both listen and learn through practical tasks in our state-of-the-art Education Suite, delegates will benefit from the progressive step-by-step nature of the day, all delivered under the expert knowledge of members of the Colour Confidence team.
Places are limited to 14.
