The College has developed this range of creative workshops to inspire individuals in later life to start something new, or further develop their own creative journey. The workshops are delivered in an informal and supportive way by our highly experienced staff who are artists, photographers, designers and makers. So why not take this opportunity to meet and learn with like minded individuals in a friendly and creative atmosphere… this is the time to be inspired!Learn to make beautiful paper collages. These practical sessions will introduce you to the beauty of visual composition. Through a series of creative workshops, you will build an assortment of samples that allow you to experiment with new and inventive ways of applying colour, texture and pattern to the paper surface. Techniques include staining, stitching, distressing, batik and exploring alternative materials. With the support of an experienced tutor, you will produce a series of collages worthy of framing and display.
