Combination 5 (English)

Description
General English group work is followed by individual tuition in areas of English specific to your own business or academic study. This combined approach allows you to aim for fluency in the international setting of the classroom while you and your tutor examine particular problems or areas of interest such as English for business, tourism, banking or marketing. It is a demanding but rewarding pattern of work.

The course includes Spoken Performance Workshops to develop active expression of the language. Plenary is a news review session in which selected students present the previous day's news for a brief group discussion.

In all courses, the duration of a lesson is 60 minutes. Some lessons may be taught as 1.5 hour sessions.

Tuition/Classes

• 17.5 hours per week of skills lessons (max 8 per class)
• 5 hours per week of Spoken Performance Workshops (max 12 participants)
• 5 hours (Combination 5) per week of individual tuition
• Beginner to Advanced
• Minimum age: 17 years

All course fees include: first day welcome orientation, individual assessment of language level and needs, regular progress tests, regular progress tests, regular feedback sessions with your teacher, free use of multimedia and self-study resources, certificate of studies and report.
