The Master of Commerce will build your theoretical and technical knowledge of the financial services industry, so you can step into senior management or start a new career.The two-year Master of Commerce is designed for applicants who have a bachelor's degree in any field and can meet minimum GPA requirements. You can also enrol if you've completed the Graduate Certificate in Commerce from UQ.Develop your knowledge in one or two of the following fields: Applied Finance, Information Systems, or Professional Accounting. Each field is designed to jumpstart or advance your professional knowledge.Receive comprehensive training in the theoretical and technical aspects of the financial services industry, beginning with the study of accounting, economics, financial management and analysis, and information systems. Once you've completed these, you'll move onto advanced-level study in a field of your choice.Enrol in an optional research stream, learn about qualitative and quantitative research methods, and complete an independent research project. You'll be supervised by an academic staff member of the UQ Business School.
