Multimedia Products Development
You will develop your functional skills in Maths and English or study GCSE English. You will develop your IT skills, along with communication and employability skills. You will be assessed by assignments, practical activities, including presentations, and project work and external assessments. Technology Campus A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D including Mathematics or English, a Foundation Diploma (equivalent to 5 GCSEs at Grades D - G), NVQ1 or satisfactory completion of a Foundation Learning programme at Level 1 with a minimum of 37 credits.
Some courses may require the achievement of additional specific qualifications/grades. For example applicants for level 2 practical programmes, may be required to demonstrate that they have the relevant skills at level 1. Successful completion of this course will lead to the award of an Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology. Students who obtain a Merit grade or Distinction and pass their functional skills can then progress onto a range of level 3 qualifications at Leeds City College, including: Level 3 Diploma in Applied IT On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a BTEC Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology. If you are aged 19 or over and considering enrolling on a further education course at Level 3 or above, you may be entitled to an Advanced Learner Loan to help with course fees.
