Course aims The course develops a knowledge and understanding of underlying accounting concepts and principles, alongside an ability to evaluate and interpret them within the context of computerised accounting.It is a highly vocational course during which students apply their new skills and knowledge in the workplace to reinforce their learning. Aimed at Those who work in the accountancy field but require more formal accounting qualifications. No prior formal educational qualifications are required, but relevant work experience will be taken into consideration. This course is aimed at groups rather than individuals. Course delivery This is a distance learning course which includes self-study, tutor support, learning materials and support through an online virtual learning environment. The HNC can be completed within two years, and a UCPD can be completed in one year.
