You will study the basic skills required to operate a computer. This will entail:

  • Using a word processor for the creation of text documents
  • Being able to carry out basic formatting and editing of documents
  • Saving and printing of documents
  • Finding information from the Internet using web addresses and Search Engines
  • Using an email system to send and receive messages
  • Creating a portfolio of work
  • Learning how to organise your files
  • Becoming aware of Health and Safety when using a computer

Assessment:
