Hands-on learning
Computing and Information Systems students work at the University’s Centre for Academic Technology (CAT) and Information Technology Service and Support. Co-op placements have included positions with prominent local employers, including Bell Aliant, Export Development Canada, Templeton Properties and Sampling Technologies Inc. Students have held entry-level positions as team leaders, marketing managers, analysts, and junior developers.
