This course is for adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who want to use computers to develop new skills.

This course is for adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who want to use computers to develop new skills. Learners wishing to enrol on this course must be assessed by our Additional Learning Support Team prior to enrolment. This will enable us to ensure that appropriate support is in place before the course starts.

You will learn in a small group at your own pace with support from your tutor. This course does not lead to a qualification.

You will have fun learning how to use a computer to write letters, paint pictures, learn to spell, use the internet, send emails and much more.

The course content will be amended according to the ability of the group. This will be discussed at the first lesson.

Please bring your student ID, Learning Agreement and Invoice as these have your unique Student ID number for you to have access to a computer.

No formal assessment. On successful completion of the course students will receive a College Certificate of Achievement.

Advice and guidance will be given throughout the course on various progression and learning opportunities.
