About this course

Graduating from this course will place you in an excellent position to continue scientific research. You will have the skills and experience to move on to a PhD or a career in conservation and related research.

Graduate destinations
95% of students from the School of Life Sciences (excluding Chemistry) were in work or further study six months after graduating. Recent School of Life Sciences graduates have gone on to jobs including:

commissioning editor, Royal Society Of Chemistry
grants adviser, Wellcome Trust
postdoctoral researcher, Cancer Research UK.

You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above.
