The aim of this study programme is to prepare professionals, who are able to think both creatively and strategically, plan, design, organize and manage construction and real estate development projects, react to the constantly changing industrial needs.
Such specialists have the necessary skills and abilities to organize construction processes, manage construction projects, select appropriate technologies, supervise construction works. They demonstrate the ability to reasonably exploit construction materials and energy resources, find means to minimize costs, can carry out construction works assessment, analyze buildings' design and construction documentation.
Specialists, who have professional knowledge as well as basic knowledge of business and IT are most valued in the modern world. Construction and real estate management study programme provides necessary knowledge and skills to solve construction projects and building economy management tasks, applying the most recent technologies.
The specialists of this field are versatile professionals, who have comprehensive knowledge of building construction, are able to sell and maintain real estate. Such specialist may be responsible for any type of work: organize construction works, set the price and deadlines, allocate tasks, supervise clerks of the works, and, eventually, sell a building, maintain or even demolish it. This is a never ending process.
The constructions sector is one of the key branches of Lithuanian economy and is directly related with the real estate market.
