What will I learn?
This course will introduce you to the core disciplines attached to achieving a professional career in the construction industry. Units include health, safety and welfare, construction and the environment, construction technology and design and construction science and materials. It is a work related specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment within the appropriate vocational sector, including some of the key areas of knowledge, understanding and skills required. It provides education and training in technical and professional areas that are directly relevant to the changing needs of construction employees, employers and professions which may reflect the career route that you wish to follow, or be directly related to your work experience.

You will be assessed through coursework and practical projects.
