About this course

The main objective of the course is to train individuals specialised in the conservation of the artistic heritage providing the necessary tools for the elaboration of a correct restoration intervention whose definition takes into account not only the specific peculiarities, but also many variables that can be traced in different environmental conditions and in the ageing of the constituent materials.

The course in Restoration offers the possibility to choose between two profiles:

- Restoration of stone materials and derivatives. Decorated surfaces of architecture, which puts the restorer in a position to work on wall paintings, mosaics and stone;

- Restoration of artworks painted on wooden and textile support, which allows the restorer to deal with the most traditional works of art, but also with the contemporaries assembled in synthetic materials.

Title - The Second Level Academic Diploma is recognized by MIUR (Ministry for Education, University and Research) and equated with the Bachelor’s Degree issued by Universities.
