The diverse range of qualifications, training programmes, professional development awards and short courses which we offer provide solutions for developing and updating employment skills, offering conintinuous professional development opportunities.
Included in this range are:
Open Learning courses in Business, Community & Health, Computing, Deer Management, Engineering, Golf and Science. These courses may be offered on a Blended Learning, Flexible Learning, OnLine or Home Study basis.
Short courses in IT and Business, Community and Health Studies, Construction, Hospitality and Catering. These are often one day courses, but may be structured over a slightly longer period.
Work based Scottish Vocational Qualifications in Beauty Therapy, Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery, Chef's Skillseeker Programme, Chef's Modern Apprenticeship, Children's Care, Learning and Development, Dry Lining and Finishing, Electrotechnical Systems, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Hospitality Multiskilled, Laboratory and Associated Technical Activity, Performing Engineering Operations, Professional Cookery, Roof Slating and Tiling, Veterinary Nursing, and Youth Work.
These are work-based qualifications which may be assessed in your workplace, or may require attendance at a college campus to complete some elements of the course.
In addition we offer w ork-based Training Awards and Training Certificates.
Note that many of these courses have been approved by ILA Scotland: it is therefore possible to use a current £200 Individual Learning Account (ILA200) to help towards the cost of the course.
