This is a highly specialised course that will enable you to demonstrate to employers and potential employers your knowledge and skills relevant to working in contraception and sexual health services. It will provide the theoretical and evidence based underpinning to contemporary CASH practice and helps you to develop new approaches to client care. The practice competencies are based on a nationally recognised framework for practice which identifies a high standard and quality of care in this area.
It is suitable for professionals from a variety of settings including midwifery, CASH and GUM (genito-urinary medicine) services, school nursing, practice nursing, gynaecology and youth services.

About this course
You must be a qualified nurse, midwife or allied health professional with appropriate current professional role in sexual health or a wish to develop in this area of practice
If you have trained as a nurse or midwife overseas or are an international applicant you must provide evidence of IELT 7.0 or above and where relevant, evidence of current NMC registered status to practice in the UK
