William and Jane Averill work together to create a warm, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful rural environment.The Grange has been run since 1988 by Jane, with her Australian husband, Will, joining her in 1995 after they met when he was a student on the Essential Cookery Course. They have travelled extensively throughout the world, lived in Sydney, and enjoy bringing a wealth of wisdom about food and eating to The Grange.Jane's background in farming and agriculture fuels her passion for fresh local ingredients - home grown where possible.
