On completion of the course, you can progress to other courses including:
• Basic Health and Safety Level 2
• Risk Assessment Principles and Practice Level 3
• Principles of Manual Handling Regulations
• Review Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 3
• Investigate Accidents and Incidents in the Workplace
• Supervising Health and Safety.

Course Overview
What does the course involve?:
This course covers:
• definition and types of substances hazardous to health in the workplace
• health effects of hazardous substances and their causes
• COSHH assessments and control options
• responsibilities imposed by the COSHH regulations.
When can I study?:
Various days, 9.00am - 12.30pm
Are there any exams?:
A certificate will be issued at the end of the course as evidence that tyou have successfully completed the CIEH principles of COSHH certificate. There will be a multiple choice question paper where the you must achieve 20 correct answers to pass the examination.
