Course programme

Delivery:

The course is delivered through presentations, lectures, coursework and practical activities.

Candidates must have a minimum of 100 hours formally contracted counselling (one-to-one) with at least 5 different clients in an agency setting. Candidates must also have a minimum of 10 hours personal therapy during the life of the course (to accommodate a range of theoretical approaches).

Assessment:

Learning outcomes will be formally assessed by a portfolio of activities and an externally assessed audio recording of a counselling activity.
