About this course

You must be aged over 19 and have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently be living in England. There is a short initial assessment to complete to ensure the course is the right level for you. If you are aged 19-24 you must already hold a full level 2 qualification.

The course is made up of the following units:

Unit 1: Using counselling skills
Unit 2: Introduction to counselling skills theories
Unit 3: Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
Unit 4: Counselling skills and personal development

This is a short online course so you will need access to computer or online device.

Additional information

Once enrolled you will receive a welcome email with your login details for our Virtual Learning Platform All materials required are on the platform along with your assessment questions. You will have planned submission dates for each unit, a tutor will mark your work and feedback will be provided to you via the platform. Tutor and learner support is available via telephone and email throughout. This course does involve uploading a video of yourself and a volunteer undertaking a short counselling session.
