This course forms the basis for anyone looking to become a counsellor or to learn counselling skills to help them in their current job or profession e.g. Health and Social Care, Education, Customer Service and Sales, Legal, Voluntary Sector, Sports, Health, Hotel, Supervisory / Team Leader etc. It is offered as a 1-day-week (9.30am-4.30pm) for 16 weeks or one evening (6pm-9pm) for 24 weeks.

About this course

Applicants must have a suitable level of literacy in English, for students who use English as a second language evidence of IELTS of 5.5 is needed.

Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body

Upon successful completion of this course, progression is to the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies. Progression, however, is not automatic and will be dependent on recommendation from your tutor, (taking into consideration learning progression, attendance and CPCAB guidelines).
