About this course
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grace C or above, or a BTEC First Diploma with a minimum of 20 points; plus a minimum of 80 UCAS points (which may include Key Skills at level 2 or above) including study of 2 A levels to A2 level, or a BTEC National Diploma; plus a satisfactory reference. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Course programme
This course includes a range of modules that encompass countryside management in western Europe. Environmental and business modules are also included. There are visits to appropriate sites and an optional European studies tour. All the modules include a mix of theory, practical work and directed study. There is a significant and important vocational placement in both years of the course.
This degree is validated and awarded by Harper Adams University College.
If you successfully complete this course at an appropriate level you could progress to the BSc (Hons) in Sustainable Land Management and obtain your honours degree with only one additional year of study.
Career opportunities include managerial careers in the countryside and environmental sectors of land-based industries such as park rangers and estate managers with National Park, The Forestry Commission etc.
