About this course
These courses introduce trainees to listening and helping skills which can be used in everyday life, as well as basic counselling concepts.
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to develop their listening and counselling skills. For those working in situations where communication and one to one interviews or interactions take place. For anyone who is interested in progressing into further counselling training.

Course programme
These courses introduce trainees to initial counselling skills and basic counselling concepts, which can be used in everyday life.
Assessment Details
There is no exam. Assessment is on submission of your journal (portfolio) at the end of the course.
Teaching Methods
The work is experiential and they will have to take part in counselling role-play and explore personal issues with their classmates.
