Creative and Professional Writing and English

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

exhibit critical self-awareness and intellectual curiosity about literature in a multi-cultural context,
engage in the comprehension, analysis and appreciation of literary and non-literary texts using a variety of written, oral and digital resources,
employ a range of transferable skill intrinsic to practice in the English subject area and of value in graduate employment,
produce artistically coherent, original and technically adept writing,
articulate both orally and in writing knowledge and understanding of texts, theories, discourse conventions and strategies relevant to creative and professional writing,
source, research, assimilate and articulate material relevant to the production of creative and professional writing.
