Graffiti Mural art-work for another subway in Windmill Hill Runcorn

Feedback from a Runcorn Policy and Performance officer

“Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend, but I hope the children enjoy seeing the work Todd has done for them and how he has taken their ideas and turned it into something really special. I’m really glad that we could fund this activity and I hope the children gained a lot from the experience.”

Martin Cooil (Runcorn Policy and Performance officer): May 2010

DJ workshop (DJ-ing Skills)
Feedback from a Liverpool Inclusion Play-worker

“The session went really well and the guy you sent was excellent with the kids, really engaging and patient. If there are any more sessions we will be sure to let you know!”

Leanne McCausland (Inclusion Play worker): May 2010

Graffiti art, crafts, African drumming and Rap workshop day

Feedback from a Wirral Girl Guides Commissioner

"May I take the opportunity to thank you and your team and artists who made the day very special and enjoyable for all the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. I look forward to using your services again in the future."

Lynne Chapman (District Commissioner): May 2010

Rapping (rap) and DJ workshops

Feedback from a Southport assistant head teacher

“Could you please pass on our thanks to the rapper and DJ for all their hard work and helping to make our arts week a huge success? The year 6 children and staff thoroughly enjoyed working with them and one of the children did his rap for the rest of the school at our show case on the Friday afternoon!
We will be in touch soon to discuss future arts events!

Katy Oakley (Assistant Head Teacher): June 2010

Description

This dynamic, problem solving and yes, forward thinking company was formed by two brothers, who with a small group of forward thinking collaborators and staff, teamed up to create UK based Nugent Education in 2004. They began in the knowledge that films and animation, graffiti art, Hip-Hop / Rap, R & B, Scouse House / MC -ing, Rock (Bands), Grime and DJ -ing, along with other Urban Art-Forms and Music remain increasingly popular amongst children and young people (and young adults). So why not use them to provide children with after school activities (extended schools services provider) and positive creative workshops, activities and events for kids?
