Annette Malone
Tutor

"My name is Annette Malone. I am a fashion design graduate. I have been sewing for around 10 years and am still always so excited to see a project come together. My main skills and what I think makes a project work well is paying attention to the small details and making sure all items are finished beautifully. When I’m not sewing, making music is my second passion."

History

Emma Morrison is the founder and co-ordinator of Creative Inspirations which grew from Emma Morrison Dressmaking (www.emmamorrisondressmaking) due to the increasing demand for tuition in the creative arts both for individuals and community groups and organisations. Emma has over fifteen years sewing experience and has always loved dressmaking, whether showing students how to sew, or a vintage piece for a special occasion.
Sewing is fun and we can create unique clothes for ourselves and our loved ones. I particularly love retro clothes and it’s amazing when we can update vintage fashion garments or make alterations to evening dresses. By doing this, it is time-saving, satisfying and we can help the environment too.
I’m an experienced City and Guilds qualified tutor, a qualified dressmaker and I can teach all ages.
I have a CRB certificate, First Aid certificate and am fully insured. Find me on the UK Register of Learning Providers. Affiliated member of IfL .
