* Please note that we are not able to sponsor students on this programme for a Tier 4 visa. * Today we are facing a revolution in leadership around the world. This highly praised and unique Masters programme provides those involved in ‘leading’ an opportunity to explore leadership in general and their own leadership in particular, in challenging and exciting ways. It engages the depth of the latest academic research across a wide spectrum of disciplines from international business and management studies to the creative arts and from philosophy to psychotherapy, enabling you to examine how your leadership changes as the context changes. You will build on your experience to develop a dynamic, flexible approach to the challenges of leadership for today and for the future. This is a part time degree programme spread over 18 months, enabling students to continue working whilst studying for their professional Masters degree. Three years in development and now in its third successful year of teaching, the programme has been life changing for many students and is quickly setting a new standard in leadership studies. Why should I choose this programme? Leaders are influencers with the insights and skills to change the way things are, to plan different futures and help move whole organisations in new directions. Their impact can be profound and life-changing for themselves and for others. To be effective they need to dig deep into their own resources. This Masters programme enables leaders to explore their own resources and to discover how to make the most of them. Fresh thinking and a creative frame of mind are added ingredients that we help to instill. There is no typical person profile for this programme. It is designed for those whose leadership is recognised today as well as those who lead without the title. It is for reluctant leaders and leaders-in-waiting. It is for those...

Course programme
Length
The programme is structured in five phases (intensives), spread over a period of 18 months.
Additional information
The programme comprises a unique combination of five ‘intensives’, taught over 5 teaching weeks, separated by twelve weeks back in your role.
Modules
Intensive One
Awakening: Leading Yourself
Self awareness is vital to good leadership and the first week’s intensive will explore how this is effectively achieved.
Intensive Two
Re-ordering: Leading in Context
In the second intensive the relationship between leading and context will be examined in-depth using insights from philosophy, art and the social sciences.
Intensive Three
Connecting: Leading in a Relational World
The connectedness of the modern world through globalisation and technology requires leaders to be able to handle complexity. You will learn how to master complexity theory and utilise its insights in your own problem-solving and sense making.
Intensive Four
Embodiment: Leading Change
Using theatre techniques and modern mediation practices you will examine the nature of change: its impact on you and others and how you can embody changes that you initiate as a leader.
Intensive Five
Synthesis: Leading into the Future
This final intensive begins by exploring how you see ‘round the curve’ and are effective in preparing people for the future.

With COVID-19 likely to generate worldwide quarantine restrictions and travel disruption for some time, and noting our duty to prevent our students from being impacted by a potential second wave, we've made the decision to deliver the Autumn 2020 Term online and prepare to return to campus in January 2021.
