BA Creative Writing

Full-Time Programme

The creative writing programme at Brunel is one of the oldest-established in the UK, and this new BA is part of a significant expansion programme. You will work within a vibrant academic discipline that specialises in contemporary literature and culture, and be part of a School dedicated to the contemporary arts.

Cross-disciplinary work is encouraged and the close relationship between subjects in the School, including Drama, Film & Television and Music, will offer you unique opportunities. You will also benefit from close contact with working writers who have established a friendly and supportive workshop environment.

Teaching and Learning

The course is taught by highly qualified staff who are actively engaged in research, scholarship or relevant professional practice. You will be taught through various methods such as lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars. You will receive one-to-one supervision in your final year project.

Student Support

You will be assigned a Personal Tutor who remains with you throughout your degree course. They are available to discuss personal and academic problems. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the individual, and you will find both academic and administrative staff only too pleased to help.
