About this course

All applicants will be individually considered, and entry is subject to interview. You are required to have successfully completed two years of study in higher education in a Criminal Justice related subject, such as a higher diploma course, foundation degree, or similar. Applications from mature students without formal qualifications will be welcomed, especially if you have relevant work experience and the motivation to succeed.

BA Honours in Criminal Justice

What will I study?

The programme has been structured to complement your existing knowledge and skills, and provide you with an enhanced understanding of Criminal Justice. The programme consists of a variety of core and optional modules including: - Criminal Law Mentally Disordered Offenders Criminal Justice Criminology Students will also be required to undertake a research based dissertation.

How is it assessed?

Modules are delivered via a combination of teaching methods including seminars and workshops. Assessment is through a combination of projects, presentations, reports, assignments, case studies and examinations.

Future prospects?

On completion of this programme, graduates would be in a position to secure or enhance their employment in the Criminal Justice section, or progress onto a relevant postgraduate qualification.
