About this course
Entry requirements: You will need to have completed Level 2 Diploma in Painting and Decorating or NVQ 2 in Painting & Decorating. A good level of maths and English would be an advantage. Additional support is provided if required. You will be interviewed by a member of the curriculum team and complete an initial assessment in literacy, numeracy.

Overview of the course:
The is designed for those who are experienced in Painting and Decorating or have completed the level 2 Diploma. On completion of the course you will be able to: Prepare surfaces to receive paint materials, apply paint materials by brush and roller, apply specialist wallpapers to walls and ceilings, apply advanced decorative finishes, apply specialist architectural features (cornice & ceiling roses) and apply paint materials with airless spray equipment.
