History
CSR Group was set up in 2006 mainly to deliver training in the forensic arena. Since then we have diversified into all areas of science and the framework of our apprenticeship scheme is tailored to the specific industry where the apprentices are based. In 2011, we began delivering the scheme to a contingent of apprentices at the UK's largest forensic service provider and are now rolling the scheme out across the UK.
Advantages of studying here
CSR Group delivers, as part of its apprenticeship, several Level 3 qualifications including a BTEC in Applied Science and an NVQ in Laboratory Techniques. In conjunction with these qualifications, our apprentices gain 12 to 18 months of invaluable work experience gaining knowledge from working alongside experienced scientists.

CSR Group is historically based in forensic science but we have lecturers with experience in all areas of scientific industry.
Description
CSR Group is the academic training provider for an advanced apprenticeship scheme specifically within the scientific industries. We are dedicated to teaching apprentices, who are working on a full time apprenticeship, one day each week, face to face at their employer's premises or a training location nearby.
