The Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Educational Technology is a completely online, 30-credit program designed for educators seeking to integrate technology into K12 curriculum and other instructional contexts where learning and teaching occur. This program can be taken entirely online. Graduates are prepared to become leaders within their instructional contexts through coursework and experiences that focus on development of a conceptual framework in which technology is an embedded aspect of the teaching and learning process and curriculum development strengthens instructional practice. The program prepares graduates to develop curriculum and utilize technology to meet learning needs of students and to critically examine technology’s ever-changing presence within schools and society.

Two specialization tracks are available: curriculum or educational technology. The master of arts in curriculum and educational technology is a unique program that emphasizes technology integration within learning and teaching contexts. All students in the program take 21 credits of courses common to both areas. Students choose a track that best suits their career interests

This 30-credit program is designed for educators who are seeking to integrate technology into P-12 curriculum and other instructional contexts. Graduates are prepared to become leaders through course work and experiences that focus on development of a conceptual framework in which technology is an embedded aspect of the teaching and learning process, and curriculum development strengthens instructional practice. Graduates will be able to develop curriculum and utilize technology in ways that keep pace with the evolving needs of schools and society. It is possible to complete the Master of Arts in Curriculum and Educational Technology via distance education or online options.
