Overview At a glance This qualification enables learners to use a range of skills and techniques to produce art and craft works. They have the ability to select, adapt and transfer skills to different situations. Designed to enhance an individuals skills and knowledge towards a more professional practice. Practical studio disciplines include painting, drawing, printmaking and jewellery. This course includes two compulsory clusters (Professional Practice and Drawing). Students can then choose two other clusters from a choice of three options (Jewellery, Painting and Printmaking).

Jewellery Cluster – Tuesday / 1pm – 4pm or 5.30pm - 8pm / B1.35

Drawing Cluster – Wednesday / 1pm – 4pm / B1.36

Printmaking Cluster – Thursday / 9am – 3pm / B1.35

Professional Practice Cluster – Friday / 9am – 12pm / B2.25

This course is available as part of the VET in Schools Program at Rockhampton City Campus.

Classes Time: Student is to choose and discuss with their prospective School VET Coordinator from the below classes. Student also has the choice to choose between two of the three elective groups namely from painting, jewellery and printmaking.
