It effectively explains the different types of Cybercrime for example, Viruses, Worms, Adware, Spyware and Trojan and emphasises the importance of basic computer safety. Users will understand why virus checks, secure passwords, user accounts and browser safety all help reduce the risk of a cyber attack.

Additionally, the term “Social Engineering” for example, Phishing, Baiting and Scareware is explained and the damage criminals can do to software applications and operating systems is discussed. Users will understand how they can be tricked into providing security passwords or access to their devices.
